These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of the TrustBoon website, accounts, business listings, reviews, verification features, QR codes, and related services.

By accessing or using TrustBoon, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue using the platform.

TrustBoon provides an online platform where businesses can create professional profiles and potential customers can discover and contact them.

Our services may include:

• Business listings and category-based discovery.
• Business profile creation and management.
• Business verification and verification indicators.
• Customer reviews and ratings.
• Direct telephone and WhatsApp contact links.
• Business QR codes.
• Featured listings, promotional opportunities, and business analytics.
• Account dashboards and lead-management tools.

Features may change, be updated, or become unavailable from time to time.

You must provide accurate information when creating an account or submitting a business listing.

You agree to:

• Provide truthful, current, and complete information.
• Keep your login credentials secure.
• Maintain and update your account information.
• Use the platform lawfully and responsibly.
• Notify TrustBoon if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

You are responsible for activity conducted through your account, except where applicable law provides otherwise.

TrustBoon may restrict, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, contain misleading information, or pose a security or legal risk. Where appropriate, we will provide notice and an opportunity to address the issue.

Businesses are responsible for the accuracy of their names, contact details, addresses, descriptions, services, images, ownership representations, and other submitted information.

TrustBoon may request documents or other evidence to assess a business listing. Verification may involve reviewing information supplied by a business or conducting additional checks appropriate to the service.

Verification status may be reviewed, suspended, or withdrawn if information becomes inaccurate, evidence is insufficient, or suspected fraud or abuse is identified.

Businesses must not falsely claim to be verified, impersonate another business, or misuse TrustBoon branding or verification marks.

By listing a business on TrustBoon, you confirm that:

• You are authorized to submit and manage the listing.
• The information provided is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
• You have permission to upload photographs, logos, documents, and other materials.
• Your business and its activities comply with applicable laws.
• You will not submit fraudulent, deceptive, defamatory, or unlawful content.
• You will promptly correct material inaccuracies.

You remain responsible for your business operations, customer service, products, services, pricing, advertising, licenses, permits, and agreements with customers.

TrustBoon allows users to submit reviews and ratings to share their experiences with businesses.

Reviews must reflect genuine experiences and must not contain fabricated claims, threats, harassment, discriminatory abuse, personal information shared without proper authority, or promotional spam.

Users must not manipulate ratings by purchasing reviews, posting fake reviews, creating deceptive accounts, or pressuring others to provide dishonest feedback.

TrustBoon may moderate, investigate, hide, or remove reviews that appear to violate these Terms or applicable law. We may request supporting information were reasonably necessary.

We do not guarantee that every review is accurate or independently verified. A published review represents the reviewer's stated opinion or experience, not necessarily the opinion of TrustBoon.

Businesses may report reviews they believe are fraudulent or unlawful. TrustBoon will assess reports according to its moderation procedures and applicable law.

TrustBoon enables customers to contact businesses directly through available telephone, WhatsApp, or other contact options.

Unless expressly stated otherwise for a particular service, TrustBoon does not act as the seller, supplier, agent, payment intermediary, or contracting party in transactions between customers and listed businesses.

Customers and businesses are responsible for independently evaluating each other, agreeing on prices and conditions, confirming payment arrangements, and resolving transaction issues.

TrustBoon does not guarantee that a listed business will respond, fulfil an order, deliver a service, honor a quotation, or provide a particular outcome.

Use reasonable caution before sending money, sharing sensitive information, or entering into an agreement with a business you have discovered through the platform.

TrustBoon's business discovery model is designed to enable direct connections between customers and businesses without charging commission on transactions between them.

Some features may be offered through free or paid plans, including featured placements, promotions, verification-related services, analytics, or other premium tools.

Any applicable charges, subscription terms, renewal arrangements, and payment conditions will be communicated before the relevant purchase or subscription.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, TrustBoon does not collect a commission on transactions independently agreed and completed between customers and listed businesses.

TrustBoon may provide QR codes that direct users to business profiles or related platform pages.

Business owners are responsible for using their QR codes accurately and lawfully. QR codes must not be altered or used to impersonate another business, mislead customers, distribute malicious content, or redirect users deceptively.

TrustBoon may update or deactivate a QR code if the associated listing is removed, suspended, or otherwise becomes ineligible.

You must not:

• Use TrustBoon for fraud, impersonation, scams, or other unlawful activity.
• Create fake business listings or misrepresent business ownership.
• Upload false, misleading, defamatory, or infringing content.
• Manipulate customer reviews, ratings, or verification indicators.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data.
• Introduce malicious software or interfere with platform security.
• Scrape, copy, resell, or commercially exploit platform data without permission or a lawful basis.
• Harass users, misuse contact information, or send unlawful unsolicited communications.
• Circumvent security controls or abuse platform features.

We may take proportionate action against suspected violations, including content removal, listing restrictions, account suspension, or referral to appropriate authorities where required or permitted by law.

TrustBoon and its original branding, design, software, and platform materials are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or commercially exploit TrustBoon's protected materials without appropriate permission, except were permitted by law.

Businesses retain ownership of the content they lawfully own and submit. By submitting content, you grant TrustBoon a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, display, and distribute that content as reasonably necessary to operate, promote, and improve the platform.

You confirm that you have the rights necessary to grant this license. The license ends when the content is removed, subject to technical backups, legal obligations, and legitimate records that must be retained.

The platform may link to third-party websites or services, including WhatsApp and external business websites.

Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. TrustBoon does not control their operations and is not responsible for their content, availability, security, or independent actions.

Your interactions with third parties are at your own discretion and subject to any applicable rights under law.

We aim to keep TrustBoon available and functioning reliably, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or permanent availability of every feature.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features for maintenance, security, operational, or business reasons, subject to applicable law.

Where appropriate, we will provide notice of material changes.

To the extent permitted by law, TrustBoon provides the platform on an "as available" basis.

TrustBoon is a business discovery platform and does not guarantee the accuracy of every listing, the authenticity of every review, the quality of every business, or the outcome of any customer interaction.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, TrustBoon is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from users' independent transactions, inaccurate information supplied by users, third-party services, or temporary platform interruptions.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability, consumer rights, or other protections that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law.

To the extent permitted by law, users and business owners are responsible for claims, losses, and reasonable costs arising directly from their unlawful conduct, infringement of third-party rights, or material breach of these Terms.

This provision does not apply to the extent a claim results from TrustBoon's own negligence, unlawful conduct, or other liability that cannot legally be transferred.

TrustBoon collects and processes personal information in accordance with its Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws.

Please read the TrustBoon Privacy Policy to understand what information we collect, how we use it, when we share it, and how you can exercise your privacy rights.

You may stop using TrustBoon at any time and may request account closure through the available account settings or by contacting support.

TrustBoon may suspend or terminate access for material violations of these Terms, suspected fraud, security threats, or legal requirements.

Where appropriate and lawful, we will provide notice and an opportunity to remedy a breach. Account closure does not remove obligations or liabilities that arose before closure.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Uganda, subject to any mandatory legal protections applicable to a user.

We encourage users to contact TrustBoon first to attempt to resolve platform-related concerns informally. Nothing in this section prevents a person from exercising a legal right or bringing a claim before a competent court or authority.

We may update these Terms as our services, operations, or legal obligations evolve.

The revised version will be published on the website with an updated effective date. Where required by law, we will seek consent or provide additional notice before material changes take effect.
